November 10, 2012 was McHappy Day and to do my bit, I thought I would head down to Macca's and have a Big Mac or two :)

Parked out the front of the store was the DeLorean DMC-12 "Back to the Future" car!! How cool :)

The Doc was there to show people over the car - he let me sit in the drivers seat!! However, I wasn't allowed to take it for a drive :(

Every year I drag the kids along to the Melbourne Show. It's always a bit of fun. Looking at the animals, going on the rides, checking out the stalls selling everything from your name made from bent wire to rainbow coloured pens.

I snapped a few photos while I was there.

Lasercut Arcade Cabinet

Being a child of the 70's, arcade games hold more for me than these xbox things... I've often thought about buying one - a real one - for home. I've looked at MAME cabinets and all sorts of options, but at the moment I've only got a little place with little space, so what I needed was a little arcade machine.

I drew this up over the last couple of evenings in CorelDRAW. It stands about 130cm / 5" tall and laser cut from 3mm Acrylic.

I have uploaded the CorelDRAW files to Thingiverse, you can download the files and cut your own :)

I've been a Ren & Stimpy fan for ages. One of the funniest characters was Mr Horse. So I had a crack at making a Mr Horse rubber stamp :)

After a year of work saving and planning, on Friday my 'secret project' arrived - imported directly from the manufacturer in China. A 60w Laser Engraver/Cutter. The delivery driver placed it at the end of my driveway and departed.

The first thing was - OMG! It's huge! The pictures on the Internet really don't convey how big this thing is!
